lyrics

A great paradox
Music: TOT / Words: M. Seebach & I. Strimer

Verse 1:
the call of the inner self, avoids the incidents of the outer world
like a chess-player in an odd fight, the time for decisions is running out
black or white, win or lose, like good or bad and peace or war
Verse 2:
the white king, exploits the opponents insecurity
to sow discord for a lowbrow war
the black king on the other hand, shedding blood on white floor
all this is food for humanity’s mindless breeding of hate
and so once more blood represents the only color-red perspective
but see the colors, they represent the feelings
not always the ruin

Chorus:
and we’re all dancin’ a psychotic waltz
feelin' so insecure, here in this colored world
fallin' into the unknown, shadows surround me
behind the colors black battles white
I have to form a contrast, otherwise the colors fade
give up the point of view
conflicts are the only way….a great paradox….

Verse 3:
we have to form a contrast
otherwise the colors fade
and all the questions (about this earthly being)
blend to an only answer
- war of minds, war of thoughts
- war of kinds, war of worlds
in most cases, an extreme point of view creates a hell
so for the narrow-minded
- for the great believer and the free mind in a box
- for the great deceiver and the great paradox

Chorus:

Verse 5:
now call it how you want, free minds are we all
and in a wide colored spectrum of opinions
even a speck, completes the seven
and prevents checkmate against ourselves
and prevents colors' fall into oblivion

Chorus:
and we’re all spectral creatures
feelin' so insecure, here in this colored world
fallin' into the unknown, shadows surround me
behind the colors black battles white
I have to form a contrast, otherwise the colors fade
give up the point of view, don't want to create a hell
let's hope the achromatopsy never wins
