Ames Room
Music: TOT / Words: I. Strimer
Bridge:
I scream within a scream....
and I face myself - in a room within a room
Pre-Chorus:
I try to estimate the importance of the important things
and the time to deal with them, but mostly I misjudge
and so I create my own reality, in a room within a room
Verse 1:
where everything is distorted, the things which formed me
and the things I formed myself
by throwing a stone, by speaking a word,
by not using opportunities, by letting the time pass by
so I create my own distorted reality
Bridge:
then I face myself - in a room within a room
and I scream within a scream...
Chorus:
always try to break out the mold - always try to find out why
always try to be in the know - always try to undistort
All these things formed me, and everything around me,
I feel my back against the wall, I see no way out at all
always try to break out the mold - always try to find out why
always try to be in the know - always try to undistort
Post-Chorus:
I feel my back against the wall, my actions force me to crawl, all inside four walls
I feel my back against the wall, my actions force me to crawl, in a room increasing smaller
Verse 1:
Post-Verse 1:
where I can't reverse some things, my misdeeds against myself
the environment's doings towards me
the stone which was thrown, the word which was spoken
the opportunity which wasn't used, the time which passes by - because the time just passes by
Bridge:
then I face myself - in a room within a room
and I scream within a scream...
Chorus: Post-Chorus: Pre-Chorus: Bridge:

Phlegraean Fields
Music: TOT / Words: M. Seebach & I. Strimer
Verse 1:
banished to legends and myths
once burnt the reality, but tamed and enchained and strapped to the gate to oblivion
their quondam message ascent in reek, anguish and fright, today only acoustic noise
in ancient legends at home, godly messenger of horror, bringing death and decay, everything had to die
Chorus:
on their last journey they fly through dimensions,
on a divine mission with only one intention
one single dragon would suffice to change the whole world,
when humanity does wrong, he dives down with force
Verse 2:
he divides the sea in one fell swoop and the firmament crumbles with every wing flap
behind fire, ashes, debris and smoke, a new era of life begins on a stroke
his arrival on earth spreads terror, no earthly being will miss it,
wherever contact occures, everythings bends to the firestorm
his force moves mountains and rips the land bloodily,
the day will come, such an invader will again prevail, against the earthly forces
Pre-Chorus:
black smoke is his wings, escorted by thunder and lightning,
he breaks the atmosphere, expels the eternal shadows with burning light
Chorus:
Verse 3:
he rearranges all life and sets the biological clock to hour zero,
sterilised by life, the earth falls into a coma,
as happened millions of years ago, a new species will conquer the planet
the struggle of dominion on earth will be decided in the sky
and as soon as time learns to fly... only one dragon for a brand new world
Verse 4:
banished to legends and myths
once burnt the reality, the dragon symbolises the depravation of humanity
a fire from the sky will cleanse the world, as a cosmic bomb or technology gone wrong
when humanity does wrong, through fire they'll be sublimed, the giants of history return
and no god will help
Verse 5:
he divides the sea in one fell swoop and the firmament crumbles with every wing flap
his arrival on earth spreads terror, no earthly being will miss it,
wherever contact occures, everythings bends to the firestorm
behind fire, ashes, debris an smoke, a new era of life begins on a stroke
the day will come, such an invader will again prevail, against the earthly forces
Bridge:
his force, moves mountains, and rips the land, bloodily...
Pre-Chorus: Chorus:

Once Human (Pinnacle & Pit)
Music: TOT / Words: I. Strimer
Pinnacle
Verse 1:
from the beginning of his time,
human thought,
he could dispose of every form
Verse 2:
descending from dirt
got out of the pit
genesis of man
a paradigm of a paradox
Verse 1:
the spirit of the age corresponds
a human of glass
for perfection, cultured in a test-tube
Verse 2:
fallen from grace
striving for the top
a superior race
humanity wants a brave new world
Verse 3
from the tower of Babylon to the world war 2
the traces of time have left a mark on history’s face
a community led by “space monkeys”...!
this ship of fools will soon run aground
Pit
Bridge 1:
our delusions of grandeur
will lead us back into the pit
lead us back... ...into the pit
Chorus:
from the tower of Babylon to the world war 2
the traces of time have left a mark on history’s face
a community led by “space monkeys”
this ship of fools will soon run aground
generation of the tube, once human
generation of the tube, now almost dirt
Bridge:
once human, now almost dirt...!

Architects Of Downfall
Music: TOT / Words: I. Strimer
Verse 1:
creating the future, suppressing the past
forgetting the errors, sacrificing the life for a progress
formerly dreams, now real machines
planning the good, waking the evil in a god
Verse 2:
elements of mind, in technical forms
electricity controlling the thoughts
projections on screens, blueprints in a virtual sand
life loses its course, the network increases
Bridge 1:
the next level, is the total loss of control!
“Every progress in human history has caused a change of focus, so the digital age....!”
Chorus 1:
utopia - dreaming of strange machines
euphoria - fulfillment of dreams
hysteria - the closest to a crash
downfall - the end of all life
downfall... the end of all life...
Bridge 2:
digital letters, digital numbers, digital world, digital life,
digital love, digital war: destroying the source of reality
Chorus 2:
welcome to the machine,
the drive assembly of the downward spiral
what have we done, why did we create
we, the architects of downfall
downfall... the end of all life...

Profound Rain
Music: TOT / Words: M. Seebach
Verse 1:
I walk through the dark cold town
deep under sinister clouds
driven by hate and despair
my thoughts are in war
Bridge 1:
blood drops from my hand on the wet paving-stones
deserted lanes, the rain banished them
Chorus:
a puddle reflects your face
for one moment, I get lost
way of life, way of sorrow
mirror on the wall, who is the failure
this is the end of my only love
splinter in my heart
Verse 2:
absorbed in thoughts, I walk soaked by tears
a lightning illuminates the abysses of my soul
scared fears are flying upwards out of darkness
instinctive I realize, your light dazzles my eyes
Bridge 2:
the power of lightning breaks through the time
Verse 3:
I am prepared
at the summit of my life
I look down on an endless building site
tears of resignation
under rain of desolation
Chorus:
Verse 4:
time to break for a new beginning
up here on the crane I meet my past
the countdown starts with the thunder
take me along through space and time
away from reality’s infertile ground
that breeze touches me for the last time
I extend my arms towards you...

A walk on the razor’s edge
Music: TOT / Words: M. Seebach
Verse 1
gods of all directions
religions of different cultures
power beyond all holy
faith kills, faith makes blind
Bridge 1
you have to walk the razor’s edge
Verse 2
even then you won’t see him
just death and ruin
power and sacrifice
the carpet to paradise
Bridge 2
do you want to walk
the bloody path of god
his gold is your duty for life
Chorus
why do people believe in gods
pillar of a brittle life
cement for a cracked foundation
or a wooden cross in stormy sea
maybe just a stubborn thought
the only thing you can’t distort
not even by the rules of nature
everything turns, the earth, the time
and even the atoms
everything is in motion, everything lives
you have to go forward
decay comes with standing still
because of everything that puts up a fight
will be extinguished
Spoken passage
people do everything to strengthen their faith
anchor in the flesh
on bloody ground of torn up wounds
pulled by hate and war
Bridge 3
but no one realizes that death and birth
are the real fixed points in life
connected with each other by the ribbon of life
they build start and destination
Bridge 1 - Verse 2 - Bridge 2 - Chorus - Spoken passage – Bridge 3
Verse 3
religions creates borders, worlds scars
our freedom was isolated long time ago
and banished in heaven
its sacrifices burned in hell
smoke and ashes is all that will remain

A Great Paradox
07:58
|
|||
A great paradox
Music: TOT / Words: M. Seebach & I. Strimer
Verse 1:
the call of the inner self, avoids the incidents of the outer world
like a chess-player in an odd fight, the time for decisions is running out
black or white, win or lose, like good or bad and peace or war
Verse 2:
the white king, exploits the opponents insecurity
to sow discord for a lowbrow war
the black king on the other hand, shedding blood on white floor
all this is food for humanity’s mindless breeding of hate
and so once more blood represents the only color-red perspective
but see the colors, they represent the feelings
not always the ruin
Chorus:
and we’re all dancin’ a psychotic waltz
feelin' so insecure, here in this colored world
fallin' into the unknown, shadows surround me
behind the colors black battles white
I have to form a contrast, otherwise the colors fade
give up the point of view
conflicts are the only way….a great paradox….
Verse 3:
we have to form a contrast
otherwise the colors fade
and all the questions (about this earthly being)
blend to an only answer
- war of minds, war of thoughts
- war of kinds, war of worlds
in most cases, an extreme point of view creates a hell
so for the narrow-minded
- for the great believer and the free mind in a box
- for the great deceiver and the great paradox
Chorus:
Verse 5:
now call it how you want, free minds are we all
and in a wide colored spectrum of opinions
even a speck, completes the seven
and prevents checkmate against ourselves
and prevents colors' fall into oblivion
Chorus:
and we’re all spectral creatures
feelin' so insecure, here in this colored world
fallin' into the unknown, shadows surround me
behind the colors black battles white
I have to form a contrast, otherwise the colors fade
give up the point of view, don't want to create a hell
let's hope the achromatopsy never wins

Timeframe

|

Timeframe
Music: TOT / Words: I. Strimer
Verse 1:
open a timeframe!!!
open a timeframe, look through the past
to the very beginning of time
Bridge 1:
insinuations, suppositions or considered manipulation
which traditions are true
Chorus 1:
derivance of all kinds, the fate of atlantis,
conquest of paradise, the landing on the moon
Verse 2:
millions of years of creation - speculations create uncertainty
thousands of years of evolution - uncertainty create lies
hundreds of years of development - lies create lies create lies
only years of arrogance - lies create gullibility
Bridge 2:
one among millions, educated with times’ history
maybe just one more fool, believing in a tactical deception
Verse 3:
misled by misguided, no one knows the truth
a big conspiracy, history is a fairytale
a big fake!
modern cinematic perfection, optical illusion
displacement of main influence
a perfect fake!
Chorus 2:
from site to site in history books, don’t let you disconcert
from picture to picture in documentations, don’t let you disconcert
every time you want to know something about the time you realize it’s a big conspiracy,
the truth conceals itself in lies and leads you to tread new paths
a modern cinematic illusion, a cut into our own flesh
the lies create a new kind of reality and open a forgotten timeframe
Verse 4:
the truth conceals itself in lies and leads you to tread new paths
the lies create a new kind of reality and open a forgotten timeframe
the present, this time, this day, everyday’s truth
Chorus 2:
creation of the world, the roman empire,
necessity of religions, extraterrestrial existence
the seven world wonders, the cause of war
everyday the lies create…
the use of nuclear weapons, all politic reflections?
…a new kind of reality
